The field of high pressure over the Adriatic is weakening slowly, while a shallow trough with frontal system is approaching from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE, in places of the North Adriatic E winds, 4-12, strengthening gradually till the end of the day to 10-20 knots. Sea 1-2, increasing to 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear and warm.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Moderate to strong SE winds, in a part of the North and Central Adriatic briefly up to near gale force. Sea increasing to slight and moderate. Cloud increase with rain in the open in the morning and in places along the coast around midday.
