SYNOPSIS

The trough with frontal system is slowly shifting across the Adriatic, while a ridge of high pressure will briefly intensify tomorrow.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds 10-20 knots, turning in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic toward the end of the day to NW and SW. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20, in places around 4 km due to mist. Variably cloudy with a little rain or brief isolated rain showers and thunder, particularly in the northern part and in the open sea.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Moderate to fresh SE winds turning to NW, in places to SW, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic. In the second part of the night winds gradually dying away, only in the open of the North Adriatic still up to moderate SW. Sea smooth or slight. Heavier cloud increase with rain, isolated heavier rain showers and thunder, most lately in the south of the Adriatic.
