A RISK OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, MAINLY IN THE SOUTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC. IN THE NORTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-40, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 50 KNOTS.

SYNOPSIS

The ridge of high pressure is extending toward the Adriatic from the north, while moist and unstable air is still circulanting in high levels.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE winds 10-20, in the Velebit Channel up to 26 knots. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic W and NW, in places during the night NE winds, 6-16, in the open of the South Adriatic NW up to 20 knots. Sea 2-3, in the extreme south of the Adriatic possibly up to 4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic.

Light to moderate NW and W, in places in the morning NE winds, in the North Adriatic NE up to fresh, in the Velebit Channel up to strong. Sea smooth or slight. Variably cloudy with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic.
