IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL, DURING THE NIGHT IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC, LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-45 KNOTS. ALONG THE COAST OF THE SOUTH AND OF A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC IN THE AFTERNOON A RISK OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS.

The ridge of high pressure is extending from the north toward the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the Velebit Channel and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE winds 12-24 knots, easing briefly, but strengthening again toward the end of the day. Toward the open sea NW winds 8-16 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 15-25 km. Mostly clear, but in the afternoon passing variable cloudiness in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic and a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder. No significant change in air temperatures.
