The ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Calm or NW winds 4-10, in the open sea of the South and Central Adriatic at first up to 15 knots. In the extreme south of the Adriatic and in the Velebit Channel this morning still NE winds 5-15 knots. Sea 1-2, locally at first up to 3. Visibility 10-20, in places with mist possibly 2-4 km. Mostly clear, in places variably cloudy with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, particularly along the coast around midday and in the afternoon.
