The shallow trough with cold front will be shifting across the Adriatic further eastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and Central Adriatic SW, along the coast SE, turning in the afternoon and toward the end of the day to NW winds 10-20 knots. In the South Adriatic S and SE winds 10-20, in places from midday up to 24 knots. Sea 2-3, in the South Adriatic from midday and in places of the North Adriatic toward the end of the day, possibly 3-4. Visibility 10-20, in places reduced to around 4 km. Variably cloudy with rain, showers and thunder, in the North Adriatic with a risk of more abundant precipitation.

Light to fresh NW and W winds, turning in the North, then in the Central Adriatic, to SW. In the South Adriatic moderate to fresh, at first still up to strong S and SE, turning to W and SW winds. Sea smooth or slight, in the South and North Adriatic up to moderate. Variably cloudy with a risk of rain or isolated rain showers with thunder.
