DURING THE FORENOON IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS AROUND 35, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 45 KNOTS. LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, PARTICULARLY FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT.

SYNOPSIS

The shallow trough is approaching from the west and a field of a little lowered air pressure will stay over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE winds 6-16, in the North Adriatic up to 20, in the Velebit Channel up to 26, easing gradually and turning firstly in the Central and South Adriatic to SE and E 4-12 knots. Sea 1-2, locally during the forenoon still up to 3. Visibility 10-20 km, in places with mist reduced to around 4 km. Variably cloudy with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly along the coast in the afternoon.

Light, in the second part of the night up to moderate SE and E winds. Sea smooth. Mist in places. Gradual cloud increase is expected, bringing rain, showers and thunder, particularly from the middle of the night.
