A LITTLE RISK OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ALONG THE COAST IN THE AFTERNOON. IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL DURING THE NIGHT LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-40 KNOTS.
SYNOPSIS
The field of mean or slightly raised air pressure lies over the Adriatic, while some unstable air is still circulating in high levels.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
Mainly NW, along the coast in the morning NE winds, 4-14, only in the Velebit Channel in the morning NE up to 16 knots. Sea 1-2, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to 3. Visibility 10-20, in places around 5 km due to mist, mainly in the morning. Mostly clear, but along the coast in the afternoon variably cloudy with a little risk of isolated rain showers and thunder.
