The ridge of high pressure is intensifying from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE winds strengthening to 8-18, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic up to 26, strengthening in the rest of the Adriatic late in the day and during the night to 12-26, in the Velebit Channel up to 30 knots. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic at first W and NW winds 4-14, in the open sea up to 18 knots. Sea 2-3, increasing gradually to 3-4. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear, but in places still variably cloudy with a little risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly along the coast of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic around midday and in the afternoon.
