SYNOPSIS

The ridge of high pressure is intensifying toward the Adriatic from the west, while a trough over the South Adriatic is gradually filling up.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE winds 8-16, in the Velebit Channel up to 24, easing and turning to NW, in places along the coast to SW 6-12 knots. Sea 1-2. Visibility 15-25 km. Mostly clear, but in the North Adriatic and in the afternoon along the coast variably cloudy. No significnat change in air temperatures.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Mostly clear, but in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic with some passing moderate cloudiness. Mainly light NW winds. Sea smooth.
