SYNOPSIS

The cold front is shifting southeastwards, while a ridge of high pressure is intensifying toward the Adriatic from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE winds 12-24, in the Velebit Channel and in the South Adriatic up to 30, easing during the day and turning in the afternoon to NW 10-18 knots. Sea 2-3, toward the open 3-4. Visibility 20-30 km. Mostly clear with some passing cloudiness in the afternoon. No significant change in air temperatures.

Mostly clear. Light to moderate, in places of the South Adriatic up to strong NE winds. Sea smooth or slight, toward the open of the South Adriatic up to moderate.
