The ridge of high pressure has intensified toward the Adriatic from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE winds 6-16, in the South Adriatic at first up to 24, turning all along the Adriatic during the day to NW 6-16, in places of the Central and South Adriatic in the afternoon up to 20 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South Adriatic 3-4. Visibility above 20 km. Mostly clear, but becoming fair in the afternoon.

Light to moderate NW, in the Central and South Adriatic at first up to fresh, turning all along the Adriatfic to light to moderate NE winds. Sea smooth or slight, in the open of the South Adriatic at first up to moderate. Fine or fair. Heavier cloud increase and rain till the morning expected in the North Adriatic.
