LOCAL GUSTS OF NE and N WINDS 35-45, DURING THE NIGHT AND TOMORROW MORNING UP TO 55 KNOTS. A RISK OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, MAINLY IN THE EXTREME SOUTH OF THE ADRIATIC AT FIRST AND IN THE SOUTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC TOMORROW.

SYNOPSIS

The ridge of high pressure has intensified toward the Adriatic from the northwest, while a field of low pressure is deepening over the Ionian Sea.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE and N winds 15-25, during the night in the Central and South Adriatic up to 30 knots. Sea 3-4. West of Istria NE and NW winds 5-15 knots and sea 2-3. Visibility 20 km. Fine or fair, in the South Adriatic variably cloudy, in the extreme south at first with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder. Tomorrow a risk of rain, showers and thunder in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic.
