SYNOPSIS

The ridge of high pressure is extending toward the Adriatic from the northwest, while a field of low pressure is deepening over the Ionian Sea.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE and NW winds 10-20, in places up to 25 knots. Sea 2-3, toward the open of the South and Central Adriatic 3-4. Visibility 15-25 km. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic variably cloudy with scattered rain or isolated rain showers and thunder. Elsewhere mostly clear. A little cooler.
