The ridge of high pressure is extending from the northwest toward the Adriatic, while a field of low pressure over the Ionian Sea is deepening.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE and NW winds 12-24, in places up to 28 knots. Sea 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic variably cloudy with scattered rain or isolated rain showers and thunder. In the rest of the Adriatic gradual cloud increase with a risk of rain, showers and thunder.
