IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC LATE IN THE DAY AND IN THE CENTRAL TOMORROW, LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-45 KNOTS. ALONG THE COAST OF THE SOUTH AND NORTH ADRIATIC A LITTLE RISK OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS.

SYNOPSIS

The ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the north, while a weakened cold front will be shifting northeast of the Adriatic eastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW winds 6-16, in the South and Central Adriatic up to 20 knots. In places along the coast at first NE winds 6-16 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South Adriatic possibly up to 4. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear, but in the South, from midday in the North Adriatic as well, variably cloudy with a very little risk of isolated rain showers and thunder.

Mostly clear, but in the North Adriatic fair or mainly cloudy with a risk of scattered rain or isolated rain showers with thunder, mainly from the middle of the night. In the North, tomorrow in a part of the Central Adriatic as well, moderate to strong NE winds. Elsewhere light to moderate NE, in the open sea light to fresh NW winds. Sea smooth or slight, locally in the North Adriatic up to moderate.
