The shallow filed of low pressure lies over the Adriatic, while a weakened cold front is approaching from the north.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Mainly NW and W winds 6-14, in the Central and South Adriatic in the afternoon up to 18 knots. In the North Adriatic in the evening and in the rest of the Adriatic, except in the extreme south, during the night, wind turning to NE and strengthening to 10-20, in the Velebit Channel up to 26 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South Adriatic in the afternoon, and in the open of the North Adriatic during the night, up to 4. Visibility 20 km. Variably cloudy with a risk of scattered rain or isolated rain showers, mainly in the North and South Adriatic.
