SYNOPSIS

The ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the northwest, while a weakened cold front is shifting northeast of the Adriatic southeastwards.

NE, toward the open sea mainly NW winds 12-24 knots. West and north of Istria NE and NW winds 4-14 knots. Sea 2-3, locally in the open up to 4. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear, but along the coast of the South and North Adriatic in the afternoon a risk of light isolated rain showers.
