The ridge of high pressure from the northwest lies over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE and N winds 6-16, south of Istria 10-20, in places up to 26 knots, easing briefly along the coast and strengthening again in the evening. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South and Central Adriatic 3-4. Visibility above 20 km. Mostly clear. In places variably cloudy with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly along the coast of the South and in the North Adriatic.

Moderate to strong NE and N winds, west and north of Istria mainly light to moderate. Sea smooth or slight, in the open of the South and Central Adriatic up to moderate. Mostly clear. In the extreme north of the Adriatic at first variably cloudy with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder.
