A RISK OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, MAINLY ALONG THE COAST OF THE SOUTH AND A PART OF THE CENTRAL, DURING THE NIGHT IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC AS WELL.

SYNOPSIS

The ridge of high pressure over the Adriatic is weakening. A shallow trough with frontal system is approaching from the northwest and it will be shifting mainly north of the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the Central and South Adriatic W and NW, in places at first NE winds, 4-14 knots. In the North Adriatic variable winds, in the afternoon, firstly in the open sea, SE 4-12 knots. Sea 1-2, in the Central and South Adriatic up to 3. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear, but along the coast of the South and a part of the Central Adriatic variably cloudy with a little risk of isolated rain showers and thunder in the afternoon.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Calm or light, only in the North Adriatic up to moderate SE winds. Sea smooth, in the northern part up to slight. In the Central and South Adriatic mostly clear, but in the North heavier cloud increase, bringing rain, from the middle of the night possibly isolated rain showers and thunder.
