WARNING
Light isolated thunderstorms in places. From the middle of the night, first in the North Adriatic, then also in a part of the Central Adriatic gusts of NE wind 35-45, in the Velebit Channel up to 55 knots.
SYNOPSIS
A trough with frontal disturbance is slowly shifting over the Adriatic while tomorrow a ridge of high will be intensifying gradually from the west
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
SE and SW winds, gradually turning to NW wind 4-14, in places temporarily up to 20 knots while towards middle of the night to NE wind in the North Adriatic. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km, locally reduced to about 5 km due to mist. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, showers and thunder. Still in the beginning partially clear in southern part of the Adriatic.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE wind intensifying to moderate and strong, at the foot of Velebit of near gale force while southwards light to moderate NW wind, along the coast NE wind. Sea smooth to slight. Variably cloudy with local showers with thunder.
