At times gusts of NE wind 35-40 knots in the Velebit Channel, in the course of the morning and again at night also in the South and in a small part of the Central Adriatic. There is a chance for light isolated thunderstorms, mainly in the afternoon along the coast, particularly of the South and Central Adriatic.

SYNOPSIS

A field of a little raised air pressure is stationary over the Adriatic while a small quantity of humid and unstable air is circulating at a high altitude.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Mostly NW and SW winds, in the morning along the coast NE wind 4-14, in the Velebit Channel and in the South and in a small part of the Central Adriatic 8-18, locally up to 22 knots. Sea 2, in the South Adriatic and in the Velebit Channel 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear and hot but with variable cloudiness there is a chance for local showers with thunder, mainly in the afternoon along the coast.

Light to moderate NW and NE winds, reinforced in the Velebit Channel and locally in the South and in a small part of the Central Adriatic. Sea mainly smooth. Mostly clear while still only in the beginning variable cloudiness with a chance for showers and thunder.
