At times gusts of NE wind 35-40 knots in the Velebit Channel and in the South Adriatic, diminishing in the course of the day and intensifying again in the evening. There is a chance for light isolated thunderstorms in places, mainly in the afternoon in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic.

SYNOPSIS

A field of medium and a little raised air pressure is stationary over the Adriatic while a small quantity of unstable air is circulating at a high altitude.

Mostly NW and SW winds, in the morning along the coast also NE wind 5-15 knots. In the Velebit Channel and in the South Adriatic NE wind locally up to 20 knots, diminishing in the course of the day. Sea 1-2, only in some places 3. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear and hot but locally in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic with variable cloudiness there is a chance for showers and thunder, mainly in the afternoon along the coast.
