In the afternoon there is a small chance for light isolated thunderstorms locally along the coast. From the middle of the night thunderstorms in the North Adriatic.

SYNOPSIS

A field of low is slowly deepening over the Central Mediterranean while tomorrow a cold front will be approaching the Adriatic from the north-west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Calm or with wind from variable direction, mostly SW 4-10 knots. Towards late in the day in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic SE wind gradually intensifying to 6-16 knots. Sea 1-2, from the middle of the night in northern part of the Adriatic intensifying to 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km, in places reduced to about 5 km due to mist. Mostly clear while in the afternoon along the coast there is a small chance for showers and thunder. Late at night more intense cloud increase with rain and showers with thunder is expected in the North Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Light to moderate SE wind spreading also to the South and to a part of the Central Adriatic while forenoon locally in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic intensifying to fresh. In the morning westwards and northwards of Istria light to moderate SE wind temporarily turning to NW and NE winds. Sea intensifying to slight in northern part of the Adriatic, in the morning also elsewhere. Mostly clear while more intense cloud increase with rain and showers with thunder in the North Adriatic.
