A RISK OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, MAINLY IN THE EXTREME SOUTH OF THE ADRIATIC AND ALONG THE COAST IN THE AFTERNOON.
SYNOPSIS
The ridge of high pressure from the west will intensify briefly, while some unstable air is still circulating in high levels.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
NW winds 4-12, in the Central and South Adriatic strengthening to 6-16, in places up to 20, easing in the evening and turning along the coast to NE 4-12 knots. In the Velebit Channel NE winds strengthening to 6-16 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic toward the end of the day 3-4, and in the North Adriatic mainly 1-2. Mostly clear. In the extreme south and in the afternoon along the coast variably cloudy with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder.

Light to moderate NW, along the coast NE winds. Sea smooth, in the open slight, in the southern part at first up to moderate. Mostly clear, but along the coast at first still variably cloudy.
