The trough with cold front is slowly shifting north of the Adriatic eastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Calm or mainly NW winds 4-10, along the coast of the South and Central Adriatic in the afternoon up to 16 knots. Along the coast of the North Adriatic this morning NE winds 4-12, in the Velebit Channel up to 16 knots, easing around midday. Sea 1-2, in the Velebit Channel and along the coast of the South and Central Adriatic in the afternoon 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly in the North Adriatic at first and all along the coast in the afternoon.

Clearing. In the North Adriatic NE winds strengthening to light to moderate, in the Velebit Channel up to fresh. Elsewhere calm or light NW and NE winds, only in places of the South Adriatic up to moderate. Sea smooth or slight, in the Velebit Channel possibly up to moderate tomorrow.
