SYNOPSIS

The field of high pressure over the Adriatic will weaken gradually. A new low is expected to generate over the Ligurian Sea tomorrow.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE winds 12-22, in places up to 28, easing gradually, most lately in the Velebit Channel, and turning to NW 6-16, in the extreme south of the Adriatic up to 20 knots at first. Sea 3-4, calming around midday to 2-3. Visibility above 20 km. Sunny.

Light NE and E winds, in the open sea at first NW, only in the Velebit Channel NE up to moderate in places. Sea smooth. Mostly clear.
