STILL A RISK OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, PARTICULARLY IN THE OPEN SEA AND IN THE EXTREME SOUTH. IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS STRENGTHENING TO 35-45 KNOTS.
SYNOPSIS
The ridge of high pressure is intensifying toward the Adriatic from the north, while some unstable air is still circulating in high levels.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
NW and W, along the coast in the evening NE winds, 4-14 knots. In the Velebit Channel NE winds gradually strengthening to 10-20, in places up to 24 knots. Sea 1-2, in the open and in the evening in the Velebit Channel 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with a risk of a little rain or isolated rain showers with thunder.

Light NW, along the coast up to moderate NE winds, only in the Velebit Channel up to strong. Sea smooth, in the open and in the Velebit Channel up to slight. Variably cloudy, still with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly in the open sea.
