IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL, DURING THE NIGHT AND TOMORROW MORNING IN THE EXTREME SOUTH OF THE ADRIATIC, LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-40 KNOTS. ALONG THE COAST OF THE SOUTH AND CENTRAL ADRIATIC IN THE AFTERNOON A LITTLE RISK OF LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS.

The ridge of high pressure is intensifying over the Adriatic from the northeast.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NW and SW, along the coast during the night NE winds, 4-14 knots. In the Velebit Channel NE winds 10-20 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but along the coast of the South and Central Adriatic in the afternoon variably cloudy with a little risk of isolated rain showers and thunder.

Light to moderate, in the Velebit Channel and in the extreme south of the Adriatic up to fresh NE winds, easing toward midday and turning to light NW and SW winds. Sea smooth, locally up to slight. Mostly clear.
