SYNOPSIS

The ridge of high pressure from the European land has weakened a little, while a shallow field of low pressure lies over the westeren Mediterranean.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

E and SE, along the coast of the North Adriatic NE and E winds, 4-14, in the open sea SE winds 8-18 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20, in places possibly reduced to around 5 km due to mist. Variably cloudy with a little rain in places, mainly in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic, and in the open sea with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder. Along the coast of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic mostly clear.

Light to moderate, locally in the open sea up to fresh E and SE, along the coast of the North Adriatic, west and north of Istria, light to moderate NE and E winds. Sea smooth or slight. Variably cloudy with a little rain mainly in the open sea and with a little risk of isolated rain showers and thunder. Along the coast of the South and of a aprt of the Central Adriatic mostly clear.
