SYNOPSIS

The ridge of high pressure is intensifying again from the northwest, while a shallow low is generating over the Tyrrhenian and Ionian Sea.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE winds strengthening to 14-22, in places up to 28, in the Velebit Channel to 32, during the night up to 38 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open and in the Velebit Channel increasing to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Cloud increase with a little lower air temperatures and with a risk of a little rain, in the open sea with isolated rain showers and thunder.
