SYNOPSIS

The low centered north of the Ligurian Sea is shifting further northwards, while the cold front is shifting across the Adriatic eastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

S and SW winds 14-28, easing gradually to 12-22 knots. In the South Adriatic this morning still SE winds 20-40 knots. Sea 4-5, locally in the South Adriatic up to 6, but calming to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly in the North Adriatic. In the South Adriatic this morning still rain, showers and thunder, in places even more abundant precipitation.
