SYNOPSIS

The field of high pressure has intensified briefly over the Adriatic, while the shallow field of low pressure still lies over the central Mediterranean. A frontal disturbance is expected to approach from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds gradually strengthening to 8-18, in places in the evening up to 22 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Fine or fair and warmer.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

SE winds further strengthening, in places up to strong, in the second part of the night up to near gale force. Sea slight and moderate. Cloud increase with a risk of light scattered rain, mainly in the North Adriatic.
