The broad low over the western Mediterranean is extending a trough over the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE winds strengthening to 12-25, only in places up to 30 knots, mainly in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic. Sea 3-4, toward the open possibly up to 5, mainly in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic. Visibility 10-20 km. Mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder, particularly late in the day.

Mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. Moderate to strong, in the south of the Adriatic at first up to near gale force SE winds, easing in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic to light to moderate. Along the coast of the North Adriatic a risk of light to moderate NE and E winds. Sea slight and moderate, in the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic calming to smooth and slight.
