SYNOPSIS

The ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the north.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE winds 12-26, only in places up to 30 knots, mainly in the Velebit Channel and in the extreme south of the Adriatic. Sea 3-4. Visibility 20 km. Mostly clear, but cloud increase is expected in the North Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

In the North Adriatic mainly cloudy, in the Central cloud increase, and in the South Adriatic still mostly clear. Moderate to strong NE winds, dying away in the North and Central, and easing to light to moderate in the South Adriatic, but in the extreme south still possibly up to strong. Sea calming to smooth, only in the south of the Adriatic still slight and moderate.
