SYNOPSIS

The ridge of high pressure is extending over the Adriatic from the north.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE winds 12-26, only in places up to 30 knots, mainly in the Velebit Channel and in the extreme south of the Adriatic. In the North and Central Adriatic late in the day and during the night NE winds will gradually ease to 8-18 knots. Sea 3-4, calming gradually in the North and Central Adriatic during the night to 2-3. Visibility 10-20 km. Mostly clear, but gradual cloud increase in the North Adriatic.
