SYNOPSIS

The ridge of high pressure has intensified toward the Adriatic from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE and N winds 6-16, in places of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic up to 24 knots, easing during the day. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South Adriatic 3-4, calming gradually in the second part of the day. Visibility 20 km. Variably cloudy with sunny spells, but in the North Adriatic at first still with a risk of scattered rain, in the open sea of isolated rain showers and thunder.

Light NE and NW winds, in places of the South Adriatic up to moderate. Sea smooth, locally in the South Adriatic up to slight. Mostly clear, but in the open sea variably cloudy.
