A ridge of broad and strong high is intensifying from the northwest toward the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North Adriatic NE and NW winds 6-16, during the night up to 12 kntos. In the Central and South Adriatic NE and N winds 14-28, easing in the Central Adriatic toward the end of the day to 10-20 knots. Sea 2-3, in the Central and South Adriatic 3-4, locally in the open of the South Adriatic up to 5, calming gradually during the night. Visibility above 20 km, but in the North Adriatic locally reduced due to mist and fog, mainly in the open sea and along Italian coast. Fine or fair and cold.
