WARNING
IN THE CENTRAL AND SOUTH ADRIATIC THIS MORNING STILL LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-40 KNOTS. A RISK OF FOG PATCHES IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC, MAINLY IN THE OPEN SEA.
SYNOPSIS
The ridge of broad and strong high is extending toward the Adriatic from the northwest.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
NW and NE winds 4-12, in the Central and South Adriatic up to 16, in the open sea toward the end of the day NW winds up to 20, only in places in the morning still NE up to 22 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic 3-4, in the North Adriatic 1-2. Visibility above 20, only in the North Adriatic reduced to around 5 km due to mist, or even possibly to less than 1 km due to fog, mainly in the open sea. Fine or fair and warmer.

Light to moderate NW, along the coast NE winds, in the open sea up to fresh. Sea smooth or slight, in the open of the southern part up to moderate. Variably cloudy in places. A risk of mist and fog in the North Adriatic.
