SYNOPSIS

The ridge of high pressure is intensifying toward the Adriatic from the northwest, while the low centred over the Ionian Sea is slowly shifting easwards.

NE and N winds 15-30, in the Central and South Adriatic up to 40, easing during the night in the North Adriatic, except in the Velebit Channel, to 6-16 knots. Sea 3-4, in the open of the Central and South Adriatic 5-6. Visibility above 20 km. Along the coast fine or fair, in places of the North Adriatic with a risk of a little rain or snow. In the open sea variably cloudy with a risk of snow, in the South Adriatic of rain.
