SYNOPSIS

The ridge of high pressure has intensified from the west, while the low is shifting from the Aegean Sea further eastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the Central and South Adriatic NE and N winds 12-24, in places at first up to 28, easing toward the end of the day and in the evening and turning in the North Adriatic to SW and W, along the coast to SE winds 4-14 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic 3-4, in the extreme south 4-5, calming along the coast during the night to 1-2. Visibility mainly above 20 km. Mostly clear.
