SYNOPSIS

The field of high pressure still lies over the Adriatic, but a trough with frontal system is approaching from the northwest.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SW and NW, along the coast E winds, 5-15, in the evening and during the night SE and SW strengthening to 10-20 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 20 km. Fine or fair, but in the North Adriatic heavier cloud increase late in the day.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS

Moderate to fresh SE and SW winds, in places of the North Adriatic up to strong. Sea slight, locally in the North Adriatic increasing up to moderate. Fair, in the North Adriatic mainly cloudy with rain in places.
