LOCAL GUSTS OF SE and SW, IN THE EXTREME NORTH OF THE ADRIATIC ALREADY BEFORE THE MORNING OF NE WINDS, 35-40 KNOTS. A RISK OF ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS, MAINLY IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT.

SYNOPSIS

The trough with frontal disturbance is approaching from the northwest, while a shallow low is expected to generate over the Ligurian Sea.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE and SW winds strengthening to 10-20, in places up to 26 knots. Sea 2-3, locally up to 4. Visibility 10-20, in places with mist possibly around 5 km. In the North Adriatic mainly cloudy with rain in places, in the Central and South Adriatic cloud increase is expected in the evening.

Moderate to strong SE and SW winds turning in the extreme north of the Adriatic already before the morning to NE. Sea slight, locally up to moderate. Variably cloudy with scattered rain and with a risk of isolated rain showers and thunder, mainly in the North Adriatic from the middle of the night. Mist in places.
