SYNOPSIS

The deep low is gradually filling up and shifting from the Aegean Sea eastwards, while a ridge of high pressure will briefly intensify from the northwest.

NE winds 10-20, in places up to 25, in the Velebit Channel up to 30, easing and turning to NW 12-24 knots. Visibility 10-20 km. Sea 2-3, in the South and Central Adriatic 3-4. Variably cloudy with sunny spells. Cold.
