LOCAL GUSTS OF SE and S WINDS STRENGTHENING TO 35-45, IN THE SOUTH AND CENTRAL ADRIATIC DURING THE NIGHT AND TOMORROW UP TO 50 KNOTS. SEA LOCALLY IN THE SOUTH AND CENTRAL ADRIATIC UP TO 5. A RISK OF THUNDERSTORMS DURING THE NIGHT AND TOMORROW.
SYNOPSIS
The trough with frontal disturbance is approaching from the northwest, while a low is expected to generate over the Ligurian Sea.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS
SE and S winds gradually strengthening to 14-28, in the South and Central Adriatic up to 32 knots during the night. Sea 2-3, increasing to 3-4. Visibility 10-20 km. Gradual cloud increase is expected, bringing rain in places later on, during the night even isolated rain showers and thunder are possible.
WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE NEXT 12 HOURS
Strong and near gale force SE and S, turning toward midday to SW, in the North, then in a part of the Central Adriatic, easing and turning to moderate and fresh NW winds. Sea slight and moderate, in the South and Central Adriatic up to rough. Mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder.
