IN THE NORTH ADRIATIC DURING THE NIGHT LOCAL GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-45 KNOTS. SEA IN THE OPEN OF THE SOUTH ADRIATIC, TOWARD THE STRAIT OF OTRANTO, UP TO 5 IN THE AFTERNOON. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS.

The low is expected to shift from the Ligurian Sea toward the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

SE and SW winids 15-25, in the South Adriatic up to 32 knots, easing till the end of the day. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE winds strengthening to 12-22, toward the open sea NW 8-16 knots. Sea 2-3, toward the open 3-4, in the open of the South Adriatic, toward the Strait of Otranto, up to 5 in the afternoon. Visibility 10-20 km. Mainly cloudy with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder.

Variably cloudy with scattered rain, in the Velebit Channel with sleet and snow. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic moderate to strong NE, toward the open of the Central Adriatic up to strong NW, and in the rest of the Adriatic moderate SW, turning in the morning to NW. Sea slight and moderate, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic tomorrow morning smooth.
