WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

NE winds 6-16, in the North Adriatic up to 20, in the Velebit Channel up to 24, in the open of the Central and South Adriatic NW up to 20 knots. Sea 2-3, in the open of the North Adriatic, south of Istria, up to 4 at first. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with a little rain or a shower with thunder in places, in the Velebit Channel with a risk of snow. In the North Adriatic during the night and elsewhere along the coast from the middle of the night mostly dry.

Light to moderate, in the Velebit Channel at first still up to fresh NE, toward the open NW winds, easing a little. Sea smooth, in the open at first still up to slight. Variably cloudy with a little rain or a shower with thunder in places, mainly in the open of the South and of a part of the Central Adriatic.
