IN THE SECOND PART OF THE NIGHT AND TOMORROW MORNING IN THE CENTRAL AND SOUTH ADRIATIC LOCAL GUSTS OF NW and SW, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL OF NE WINDS, 35-40 KNOTS. LIGHT ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS IN THE SOUTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC DURING THE NIGHT AND TOMORROW MORNING.

SYNOPSIS

A low is generating over the central Mediterranean and it will spread rapidly a trough with frontal system toward the Adriatic.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

Variable winds 4-12 knots. In the evening and during the night SE and SW winds strengthening to 8-18, in the open sea up to 22 knots. Sea 2-3. Visibility 15-25 km. Gradual cloud increase with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and thunder during the night, particularly in the Central and South Adriatic.

Moderate to strong NW and SW, in the North Adriatic NW and NE winds. Sea slight and moderate. Overcast with scattered rain, isolated rain showers and with a risk of thunder.
