IN THE SOUTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC AT FIRST AND IN THE SECOND PART OF THE NIGHT A RISK OF GUSTS OF SE, AT FIRST OF SW WINDS AS WELL, 35-45, IN THE EXTREME SOUTH UP TO 55 KNOTS. IN THE NORTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC FROM THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT AND ELSEWHERE TOMORROW DURING THE FORENOON, GUSTS OF NE WINDS 35-50, IN THE VELEBIT CHANNEL UP TO 65 KNOTS. IN THE SOUTH AND IN A PART OF THE CENTRAL ADRIATIC AT FIRST AND IN THE NORTH TOMORROW, SEA UP TO 5. ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS.

SYNOPSIS

The low over the Ligurian Sea is filling up and shifting southwards, while the low over the North Adriatic is also filling up and shifting northeastwards.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic SE and SW winds, turning gradually to NE 6-16 knots. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic SE and SW winds 12-28, in the extreme south up to 38, easing gradually to 8-18 knots. Sea 2-3, in the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic 3-4, at first still 4-5. Visibility 10-20 km. Variably cloudy with a risk of rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. In the southern part of the Adriatic still a risk of more abundant precipitation at first.

In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic NE winds strengthening to moderate to strong, in the Velebit Channel up to gale force. In the South and in a part of the Central Adriatic SE winds strengthening to moderate to strong and turning gradually in the afternoon to moderate to strong NE. Sea slight and moderate, in the North Adriatic increasing to moderate and rough. Variably cloudy with a risk of rain, isolated rain showers and thunder. Partial clearing is expected in the northern part of the Adriatic tomorrow during the day.
