SYNOPSIS

The low is shifting from the Adriatic southeastwards, while a ridge of high pressure is intensifying from the west.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR THE ADRIATIC FOR THE FIRST 12 HOURS

In the open sea N and NW, along the coast NE winds, strengthening to 14-28, in the open sea up to 32 knots. In the South Adriatic at first still SE and SW winds 15-30 knots. Sea 3-4, in the open possibly up to 5. Visibility 10-20 km. Rain, showers and thunder in places. In the North and in a part of the Central Adriatic during the day and elsewhere, except in the extreme south, during the night, end of precipitation and gradual clearing.
